About me.
- I’m a Cheshire-based writer (with proud Lancashire roots) who loves exploring the weirder, wonderful corners of storytelling. The stranger and more intriguing the better.
- I studied foundation Ba Performance & Media at UCLAN and then went on to complete my degree at the University of Chester, where I gained a Ba (hons) Drama & Theatre studies and Performance & New Media 2.1.
- I have previously worked on the Grosvenor Park Open Air theatre and Up the Wall live art installation with Chester Performs & Three seasons with Chester festivals. Also I completed short project camera work for Toxteth tv and collaborated with 2 Engage CIC on drama workshops in local schools and through Romania, facilitating drama workshops to school children of varying ages. I have also completed media for multiple independent projects.
- My favourite genres include Sci-fi horror, psychological thrillers, occassionally romance depending on the mood and a touch of comedy never goes amiss.
- Whether I'm writing for the screen or the independent stage, my process is highly collaborative. I am keen to devise and improvise to bring scripts to life.
- Beyond traditional text, my passion lies in breaking the fourth wall; I create live art performances that invite the audience right into the story. One of my most personal pieces blended audience participation with my own lived experience of dialysis and transplantation.
- If you'd like to stay in the loop, feel free to subscribe for email updates about my work and upcoming projects.
